Catherine Killmier is a Registered Psychologist based in Melbourne, known for her warm, accepting, and empathetic approach. Currently completing her Clinical Psychology Registrar Program, she aims to become endorsed as a clinical psychologist. Additionally, Catherine has pursued studies in art therapy, expressive therapies, and play therapy, enriching her therapeutic practice. Catherine is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and the Australia Association of Psychologists.
Since joining Guidestar in 2018, Catherine has worked as both a psychologist and Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner. Her diverse experience spans private practice, community health, disability settings, local government, and libraries.
Catherine has a special interest in the mind-body connection and employs a holistic, person-centred approach, working collaboratively with children, adolescents, and adults. She provides support for individuals facing challenges related to trauma, disability, and social or systemic adversity, including those with dual diagnoses.
